Corrective actions

Every action has an owner and a due date

Findings come from everywhere – site inspections, risk assessments, equipment checks, safety committee meetings. EHS Go brings them together in a single list and makes sure none of them stalls.

In practice

Steering actions across plants

With several plants, actions from inspections, audits and equipment checks quickly drift apart. In EHS Go the central EHS team sees every open item per plant, plant managers see their own – and overdue actions stand out immediately.

01Features

What the module does

One list for every source

Actions from risk assessments, inspections, equipment checks and committee minutes – each linked to where it came from.

Clear ownership

Every action has an owner and a due date. Owners see their tasks in the web app and the mobile app.

Reminders before the deadline

Automatic notifications before an action becomes overdue.

Prioritise and filter

Filter by risk, site, area or person and deal with the most urgent items first.

Evidence of completion

Comment, photo or document attached to the action; date and author are recorded.

Figures for management

Open, overdue and closed actions per site on the dashboard – and as an export for reports.

02Workflow

How it works in EHS Go

  1. 01

    Capture

Automatically from the modules or manually, for example after a suggestion from staff.

  2. 02

    Assign

    Set owner, deadline and priority.

  3. 03

    Implement

Document completion with evidence – photo, document or comment.

  4. 04

    Confirm effectiveness

Check whether the action really reduces the risk and record the result.

03Legal basis

Regulatory context

ISO 45001 (clause 10.2) requires organisations to react to incidents and nonconformities, take action to control and correct them and review the effectiveness of what they did. German law sets the same principle: employers must take the necessary measures, check their effectiveness and adapt them where needed (section 3 ArbSchG), prioritising controls at source over organisational and personal measures (section 4 ArbSchG).

Key regulations

  • ISO 45001, clause 10.2
  • ArbSchG §§ 3, 4
